Hi, my name is Natalie
I am an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience having qualified from the University of Derby in 2003. I have worked across both NHS and private sectors, supporting children, adults, and their families to navigate everyday life with greater confidence and ease. I am passionate about helping individuals thrive in ways that are meaningful to them and achievable within their daily lives.
I have completed postgraduate training in Sensory Integration at Sheffield Hallam University and practice as a qualified Sensory Integration Practitioner and I am in the process of completing my MSc in advanced practice- sensory integration. This enables me to assess and support individuals with sensory processing differences using evidence-based, person-centred approaches, carefully tailored to each person’s unique strengths and needs.
I use both standardised and non standardised assessments within my work to capture a well rounded view of the person. My work is shaped not only by professional training, but also by lived experience. As a parent of a child with additional needs, I understand and experience how overwhelming things can feel at times, and how important it is to feel heard, supported, and understood.
I have first-hand experience of the EHCP process, both as a clinician and as a parent. I appreciate how complex, emotional, and time-consuming it can be. I have completed all three SEND law training levels with IPSEA. This insight allows me to support families with clarity, empathy, and realistic guidance at every stage.
I work in close partnership with individuals, parents, and caregivers, creating personalised plans that support regulation, development, independence, and confidence, while also bringing more calm, connection, and enjoyment into everyday life.
